BRENDA CLARE TAYLOR 16.5.29 - 04.9.09.

It is with much sadness that we have to report that Brenda Taylor, our Membership Secretary for many years, has died as the result of a car accident.

Brenda was a founder member of the Society and her contribution to the Society over the years has been immense. She became the second editor of our Journal, but found her forte as Membership Secretary. This role she has carried out for over 30 years, the point of contact between members and the Society.

Brenda also readily took on many other tasks. Amongst these were publication distribution and running the bookstall raising considerable funds for the Society. A valued member of the Committee full of ideas which she was always ready to help implement.

Brenda also developed the social activities of the Society, not least the many years when with Alan, her late husband, open house was held for our winter social.
